The Desert

He is a lost soul,
whose heart has conquered him,
he has found himself,
who has tamed his mind to fit in,

he is a true sailor,
who rides on the tides of truth,
he has drowned in the whirl,
whose hasn’t lied that few,

he who walks is not being held by urge and desires,
he has grown root on the way,
who stopped to taste those desires,

he hasn’t given up,
who still join hands and prays,
he has laid down his arms,
who didn’t believe, in next morning's rays,

he will love again,
who remembers the good time,
he will continue his hate,
who has carried it all in mind,

he has earned his very best,
who always gave it to the rest,
he ended up with deep losses,
who caused another’s' Jesus and crosses,

he hasn’t let out his hope,
who still goes oiling the lamp,
he who didn’t protect the flame,
kept searching the light and turned a tramp,

and I?
I have this map above,
to direct and drive me,
I'm on voyage in this desert,
following my will's lead,
and I would like if you join me too,
for there’s not much time,

not much time for this time to flee.
